Errors: Here is how to fix it!

If you ran into an error, these could be the reason why:

You are connecting through a proxy server

If you are using a proxy server, you need to set the following environment variables.

  • HTTP_PROXY: Proxy server URL
  • PROXY_USER: Proxy server user name (optional, if the server requires Basic authentication)
  • PROXY_PASSWORD: Proxy server password (optional, if the server requires Basic authentication)

[NOTE] track CLI only supports Basic authentication.
[NOTE] How to set up proxy servers depends on the environment you are using
[NOTE] If you have further questions, please contact your network administrator.

You need to configure your environment variables

If you don't have "track" set up in your environment variables, you will need to do so.
For example, if you have track saved in  /home/user/my_binaries , you need to add the following:

export PATH="/home/user/my_binaries:$PATH"
